Today is the Celebration of Life for my beautiful Aunt who we lost on January 7th. But it is still a reminder of how both of these woman, my Mom and Aunt, we ripped from my life this past year because of ovarian cancer. As my Mom always said "You need to be your own #advocate! When something just doesn't feel right, keep looking for answers."

This is a #reminder to all #woman, please go to your annual exams and seek for answers when your gut says something isn't right.

I'm sorry for you and your family. That is a lot of sadness, loss and grief. Hugs and prayers, Amy.

My mom died of ovarian cancer in 1962. All these years later, this scourge continues unabated. I pray for a cure so wonderful people like my mom, Nancy and Diane don’t fall victim to this.
